Public transport: Avon Beach is at the bottom of Bure Lane which is served by
Wilts and Dorset half hourly services from Christchurch High Street.
How about pets? Dogs are banned between May and the end of September.
Other points of interest:
Mudeford was a centre of the local smuggling industry in the 18th century and remains an active fishing port. Mudeford inshore lifeboat station is one of the busiest in the country.
