A NUMBER of pets are looking for their forever homes in Dorset.

Margaret Green Animal Rescue is hoping to find loving families for the animals in its care.

Rusty, an 11-year-old Jack Russell terrier, loves being around his human companions and is described by the rescue staff as “very affectionate”. Despite his age, he still enjoys going on walks and exploring new places.

Mojo, a three-year-old ex-racing greyhound, is a “happy-go-lucky chap” who likes people, as well as running around with his fellow sighthounds. He can live with other sighthounds and older children.

Babe and TJ, an 11-year-old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross and a 12-year-old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, are looking for a quiet retirement home together with a family with space in their hearts for two golden oldies.

Cat Tallulah, who is around four years old, has come from a home with a lot of other cats and only one human so is a bit wary of meeting new people, but once she gets to know you she is a “very affectionate girl”.

Pie, who is two years old, is described as a “very sweet and affectionate girl who loves everyone”. Her kittens have now been weaned, so she is ready for her forever home. She should be fine to live with children and another pet.

Finally, there is James. The 10-year-old feline is a “very active and outgoing lad” who loves being fussed in small doses. He is from a rural home so is looking for his forever home to be similar.
