WEYMOUTH and Bridport have both seen tonight's matches postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

Mark Molesley's Terras were scheduled to be in BigFreeBet.com Challenge Cup action at AFC Totton, but now await a reserve date for fulfilment of the fixture.

Weymouth had been tipped to field a number of changes for the clash with the Stags.

Terras' manager Molesley said: "After Saturday we were looking forward to this game to right some wrongs and get back on the football pitch again, that’s where we can put things right straight away and help in our preparation for Saturday."

"But that’s part of football - things get called off, there's nothing we can do, it’s out of our control so we just have to make the best of the situation."

Bridport, meanwhile, were set to travel to Bristol-based bottom side Longwell Green Sports in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division.

The news is a blow for Bees' manager Adam Fricker, who will now see star centre-back Leigh Bailey's one-game suspension served in their home game with Chipping Sodbury Town on Saturday.

Weymouth are also in action on Saturday (3pm) when they entertain Kings Langley in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division.
