THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

BENJAMIN PETERSON, 37 and of Easton Street in Portland, admitted criminal damage after damaging a door to the value of £120 at Atlantic House in Portland on December 24, 2022. He was ordered to pay £429 in compensation.

ADAM EDWARD ERIC CURTIS, 36 and of Slepe Crescent in Poole, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order made by Poole Magistrates Court on February 10. He was fined £50.

AARON RICHARD CLARK, 44 and of Everest Road in Christchurch, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on October 16, 2023. The community order was varied to contain new and varied requirements, including a requirement to complete an additional 40 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay costs of £60.

JAKOB MOSS, 21 and of Shore Close in Milford-On-Sea, admitted possessing a controlled Class A drug, after being in possession of MDMA in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, on October 11, 2023. He was ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, a victim surcharge of £48, and a fine of £120.

KASSANDRYA TAYLOR, 30 and of High Street in Poole, admitted a charge of burglary after entering 187 Bournemouth Road in Poole as a trespasser with intent to steal on January 3. She was handed a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. She was also ordered to pay £828.62 in compensation.

LEWIS MURRAY, 23 and of Stourvale Road in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker after assaulting a police officer in Bournemouth on October 22, 2023. He also admitted using threatening/abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress on the same day. He was handed a community order running until March 7, 2025, with a requirement to complete 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £50 in compensation.

KATIE MILFORD, 28 and of Christchurch Road in Bournemouth, admitted stealing goods to the value of £114.96 from Tk Maxx in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, on April 30, 2023. She was conditionally discharged for a ten-month period. She was also ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £26.

STEVEN THOMPSON, 37 and of Haven Road in Poole, admitted using threatening/abusive/insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of/provoke unlawful violence in Bournemouth on August 13, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

SARAH TILLER, 58 and of Ashley Road in Poole, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a woman in Central Stores in Ashley Road on November 9, 2023. She was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. She was also ordered to pay £25 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £26.

IRAA HORWOOD, 40 and of Northey Road in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a man in Durley Road in Bournemouth on December 3, 2023. The defendant also admitted charges of possessing cannabis and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis by police on the same date. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, compensation of £100, and a fine of £50.

BEN HADEN-SMITH, 23 and of Grove Road in Portland, admitted theft from a shop after stealing perfume valued at £220 from Bobby’s & Co in Bournemouth Square on October 27, 2023. He was ordered to pay compensation of £220.

JOHN HOLE, 42 and of Jubilee Road in Corfe Mullen, admitted driving whilst disqualified and without insurance in Canford Heath Road, Poole, on February 1. He was disqualified for a further 12 month period, and handed a community order lasting until March 10, 2025. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
