A CAR dealership has moved into a new home following the closure of another business.
The well-known car dealership G.W. Hall & Son has moved to the new site in Ringwood Road, where Bournemouth and Poole Car Sales used to be.
G.W. Hall & Son has more than 45 years' experience in the trade, currently offering more than 50 “hand-picked” cars for sale.
Owner Ged Hall, who moved his business to Ringwood Road two weeks ago, said: “We have no affiliation with Bournemouth and Poole Car Sales and our business is affluent and good.
“That business financed cars – we don’t do that, it’s all bought.
“Our new signage should be put up in the next 10 days or so, unfortunately there has been a little delay.”
The former business which occupied the site – Bournemouth and Poole Car Sales – went into liquidation earlier this month.
According to Companies House, Bournemouth and Poole Car Sales closed down owing £430k to creditors.
It is estimated £306,350 is owed to unsecured, non-preferential creditors – meaning they aren’t guaranteed to get all their money back. The liquidators said there is an estimated total deficiency of £294,399.
