A THREE-bedroom flat near a pier is set to fetch more than £130,000 when it goes under the hammer at auction.
The flat at 42A Sea Road is up the road from Boscombe pier and will go to auction in May.
The purpose-built, self-contained flat is among 149 lots listed across southern England by Clive Emson Auctioneers.
Rob Marchant, the Dorset auctioneer for the regional land and property auction firm, said: “We have been instructed by the trustees to sell the flat, which is approximately 300 yards from the pier and beach.
“The flat, on the remainder of a 99-year lease from 1966, requires a programme of upgrading and refurbishment and is considered very worthy of the improvements required.”
The flat has a guide price of £130,000.
A two-bedroom freehold bungalow in Winton, Bournemouth at 98 Portland Road is also among the lots, with a guide price of £150,000 to £160,000, a reduction of £35,000 from a previous listing.
The joint auctioneers for both properties are House and Son.
The auction ends on May 1, with bidding live from 48 hours before.
