Big names will be thronging to the golden sands of Poole this week for the British Beach Polo Championships.
A stunning celebrity line-up has been revealed for the two-day spectacle at Sandbanks this Friday and Saturday.
On Friday as well as watching the polo with experts Jack Kidd and Jamie Morrison, thousands are set to hit the beach for the after-sport party.
Model and TV presenter Calum Best, son of late football legend George Best, is guest MC and Dane Bowers – formerly of boyband Another Level and now a top DJ who appeared in Celebrity Big Brother earlier in the year – exclusively reveals his new single, All She Needs, ahead of its UK release on July 11.
The evening’s DJs also include international stars Brandon Block, Maxine Hardcastle, Fenton Gee and Dance Aid’s own DJs Wayne Eldridge and Mete Alpsakarya. Live music will also be provided by funk band the Big Trains Haymaker.
After Saturday’s exciting competition, camel polo and beach volleyball the fun continues with DJs Jade Jagger and Dan Williams, who will celebrate the closing of the 2010 championships.
“We are delighted to have attracted such big names and sponsors, including title sponsor Champagne Pommery, to Poole’s blue flag beach,” said event organiser Johnny Wheeler.
“Guests will have the chance to rub shoulders with the stars, and we look forward to welcoming them to the party.”
Tickets start from £35 with add-on options for the evening parties, from sandpolo.co.uk, BIC and Ticket Master or call 01202 586511.

Did no one ever tell you jealousy will get you nowhere in life?
If you don't like it then don't go, simple as that. Many of the people that choose to go to these events pay £35 or so, the same price as a premiership football match or a theatre ticket.
Where does the article mention rich kids, Bentleys, X5's or Range Rovers?I think you will find they are stereotypes but hey don't forget these same people earn and spend money something the economy needs at the moment or would you rather they didn't????????
Everyone has a choice in life and if you don't like the polo or the thought of it then stay home and watch tv or do something else to amuse yourselves.

Sometimes i wonder why I read these comments, as the bigoted, small minded people who write them make me so angry! I couldnt agree more with Marcus James. We live in a democracy and people can choose how and where they spend their money. I personally hate football and cant understand the mentality of spending a large amount of money to watch a load of overpaid sportsman doing what they love and have a natural talent!! for but will happily spend my hard earned cash on seeing true talent in the theatre. And to prejudge people about tax evasion is tantamount to slander - get a life!!
