BEES’ striker Mark Salter is set to make his first appearance of pre-season for the club when they host Cullompton Rangers at St Mary’s Field tomorrow (7.45pm).

He will be joined by new recruit Ben Haines, who has joined Bridport from boss Adam Fricker’s former club Chard Town. Luke King is also set to be in action.

The Bridport manager, who recorded a 2-0 pre-season victory over Wincanton in his first game in charge on Saturday, is also hopeful of having another fresh face involved with a view to joining the club next term.

Speaking ahead of the game, Fricker said: “Mark Salter, Ben Haines and Luke King will be back in the squad.

“Leigh Bailey will be missing through work commitments and Ryan Hayter is a doubt through injury.

“We are also hoping to have one of the other lads we are talking to coming down as well.”
