PORTLAND United manager Gary Bailey says his side are full of confidence as they look to extended their unbeaten league run to five games when they take on Fawley tomorrow at Grove Corner (3pm).
The Blues have three wins and a draw from their first four league fixtures – a run that sees them sit second in the Wessex League Premier Division standings.
Fawley may be 17th in the division, having won one of their first four games, but the boss is under no illusions that they will be tested by their opponents.
Bailey told Echosport: “Fawley are unknown quantity to me and until you go up against them the only thing you can do is look after yourself.
“But it will be a tough test as they all are in this league, you don’t get any easy games.
“Even our two wins recently, we have had to give everything to make sure we get across the line.
“We will go into the game full of confidence after two good results and two decent performances.
“We are really enjoy playing at home and we’re proud of our home record.
“It’s one we will go into confident but we certainly won’t be taking anything for granted.”
