ADAM Fricker is set to name a strong squad ahead of their Les Phillips Cup tie away to Odd Down (Bath) tomorrow as they look to build on their 3-1 league win over Hallen last weekend.

There are no fresh injury concerns for the Bees’ boss with Louis Rutter and Leigh Bailey the only players missing with suspension and work commitments respectively.

Speaking about the tie, Fricker told Echosport: “In an ideal world we would have liked another league game to carry on the momentum from the win last week.

“But, we’re going into a tough game up at Odd Down in the cup. For us, it’s a side we have already played this season, so we know what they’re about. We’re not going into it blind.

Speaking about an option to rest players, he added: “We’ve not had midweek games so we won’t be resting anyone. We will go into it full strength.

“We’ll approach it as a normal game and we will go up there looking to win the tie.”

Asked whether the Les Phillips Cup is important to the Bees, Fricker explained: “Every game is important to the club.

“It’s about trying to string a few results together so we can improve the confidence.

“If we can build on what we did on Saturday (against Hallen) then the lads will be more confident.

“It’s the League Cup so there is no reason why we shouldn’t be looking to do well in it.”

Bridport are back in action in the league next Saturday when they take on Longwell Green Sports away from home.
