JASON Brookes has been awarded the Dorchester Town Supporters’ player of the month award for his performances throughout December.
The defender was a consistent performer during an unbeaten month for the Magpies, which included a victory over Basingstoke Town, as well as three draws including Boxing Day’s 1-1 draw with rivals Weymouth.
Brookes has also been a consistent starter since the arrival of Craig Laird in January, and looks to be a key member of the side looking to secure the Magpies’ Evo-stik Southern Premier Division status between now and April.
In addition to this, Brookes has also been contributing towards the club’s various community projects designed to make football more accessible to the town of Dorchester and surrounding areas.
