BALTI boss Marco Nott confirmed that former Bridport man Ryan Dovell is set to link up with his squad next season.
Dovell, who featured as a player-coach under former Bees’ chief Trevor Senior during his time at St Mary’s Field, has also taken on a role as player assistant-manager of Dorchester Town Reserves.
He is set to play for Weymouth College outfit Balti at weekends, with the Magpies’ reserves mainly operating in midweek.
And manager Nott, is delighted to have the former Bridport and Hamworthy United man on board.
Asked about Dovell, he said: “He has already become a bit of a leader among the lads and he should flourish this season, hopefully.
“I think we need a bit of experience in our team. We get a little bit naïve in games at times and you can tell in the couple of games he has played that he has got a lot about himself.”
