BALTI Sports’ boss Marco Nott admits he will always “fancy" Sports' chances when playing at home, with Gillingham Town the latest side to travel to Weymouth College in the Dorset Premier League tomorrow (3pm).
But Nott told Echosport he is unsure what to expect from the Gills, who have dropped into Balti’s league from the Toolstation Western Premier Division.
He said: I’m not sure what to expect. They’re going to be a tough side. They’re normally quite a young and decent side and they might have more experienced players there now.
“We always fancy our chances at home. Our tempo is a lot better and it suits the way we play and we’re pretty confident when we play at home.”
Nott revealed that Ashley Batchelor faces a race against time to be fit for the game, but Carl McClements is in line to return after a broken ankle.
“Batch is the only possible doubt. He’s itching to play but I’ve got to be sensible. I’ll give him to the very last minute.
“Phil Anderson is unavailable – it’s defenders that are missing again.
“Carl McClements has had a couple of weeks in training so he’s pretty much good to go, he’s an outstanding player,” he said.
