DONATION: Budmouth Year Eight team captain, Brinley Doyle receives a cheque for £165 from bags2school after collecting 40 large bags of clothing to be sold in charity shops all over Britain
BUDMOUTH College’s Year Eight's football team have collected clothing from parents, staff and the community for the bag2school fundraising scheme to purchase new kits for the current 2017-18 season.
The squad is returning this year after winning the Area Cup as Year Sevens and runners-up in the school Dorset County Cup 2016-17.
This season the team hopes to have raised enough money to purchase a new strip by the second round of the country’s school National tournament in mid-October.
The team have worked hard both on and off the pitch under the tutelage of Luke De La Haye, sport teacher at Budmouth.
