PORTLAND United interim-manager Gary Bailey has informed the club he cannot be considered for the position of first-team manager due to a change in work commitments.
Bailey, who won the Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division with the Blues in the 2016/17 season and returned in January on an interim basis after Simon Browne was relieved of his duties.
Chairman of Portland United, Robin Satherley, made the following statement: "Portland United FC are looking to appoint a first team manager after being informed by interim-manager Gary Bailey that due to a change in his work commitments he cannot be considered for the post of first-team manager.

Bailey saw the Blues eventually finish 15th in the table with 50 points, with his last match in charge a 3-2 win at home against Fareham Town.
