DORCHESTER Sports’ manager Ashley James has called for his side to “bounce back strongly” in their Dorset Premier League fixture against Blandford United at the Clayson Stadium tomorrow (3pm).
James’ comments were made in relation to the 2-0 Dorset Premier League Cup loss against arch-rivals Balti Sports last weekend.
He told Echosport: “We need to bounce back strongly. We’ve got a lot of work to do to get that spark back. We just didn’t create anything.
“For Blandford we’ve got to up our game because if we play like that we’ll get turned over again.
“There are a lot of improvements needed for the game, but we know we can do it, we’ve just got to dust ourselves off, get some key players back and go again.”
Goalkeeper Alex Frost returns, as do Jamie Rawlings, Gareth Will and Jason Read.
On Will, James said: “We do miss Gareth in centre-midfield and to get him back will be a massive boost.”
