PURBECK is once again proving it is a top travel destination after one of its hotels was praised in the 2016 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards.

West Lulworth’s Bindon Bottom B&B has been named 21st in Europe and 11th in the UK.

Now in their 14th year, the awards honour the world’s most outstanding properties in the categories of Top Hotels, Bargain, B&Bs and Inns, Luxury, Best Service and Small Hotels. Travellers’ Choice award winners were determined based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from TripAdvisor travellers worldwide.

James Kay from TripAdvisor said: “These awards are based on guest feedback gathered throughout the year, so what sets the winners apart is not just a high standard of service and accommodation, but the fact that they deliver this day in and day out.

“Demand for rooms at the winning hotels is likely to rise, so travellers should book early on TripAdvisor to see for themselves why travellers have raved so much about these properties.”

Lisa and Clive Orchard from Bindon Bottom are now in their sixth season running the Purbeck B&B.

The couple said they were delighted with the accolades and said the best part of the job was getting to meet people from around the world and showing them the beautiful Jurassic Coast.

Lisa added: “We’re delighted with the award.”
