MARCO Nott joked that he doesn’t think his heart can take another 6-5 win as his side prepare to travel to Swanage Town & Herston in the Dorset Premier League tomorrow.

Balti claimed the remarkable victory in the corresponding fixture last season, but the Weymouth-based outfit will travel with confidence.

Nott said: “I hope it’s not like last year, where we beat them 6-5. I don’t think my heart can take a 6-5 win!

“It’s just really good at the moment where we are really watertight at the back and not conceding many goals.”

Nott is wary of Swanage, who have five wins from 12 home games so far this season and sit 10th with 25 points.

Nott added: “It’s always tough going down to Swanage.

“They are a really good side on that pitch, I know they have not been as good this season but they have picked up of late with some good results.”

“They beat Parley on Saturday so it will be a really tough, tricky place to go but we have got quite a lot of confidence so hopefully having players back we should go there and try and get a positive result.”

Nott also hailed the return of Phil Anderson for helping Balti to get on their current run of form, which has seen them unbeaten in their last five league matches.

Nott said: “The return of Phil, it’s no secret, since he has come back we have been on this run so he is a big player for us, he is a top-quality centre-back.

“Having him back has been a massive boost to us.”
