WITH Dorchester’s first XV not playing until March now, focus falls on the high-flying A XV tomorrow.

Rob Parker’s side sit 13 points ahead of next-placed Salisbury in the Wadworth 6X Dorset & Wilts Two South table.

They welcome Ellingham & Ringwood to Coburg Road with a strong squad looking for a big win after last weekend’s narrow defeat.

Parker has named Liam Kershaw, Joe Prior and Alan Gale as his starting front row.

Luke Robson starts at eight and with Leo Ansell, Alex Peel and Matt Fry in his back line, the Dorchester coach will be looking to get the ball out wide.

With impact players named on the bench, Tom Bamlet, Lee King and Jack Chatfield will all be looking to get involved in the action. The game kicks off at 2.30pm.

Having dropped down the table due to availability issues across the teams last weekend, Tony O’Connell takes his Gladiators XV to league leaders Poole in a bid to climb back up the table.

He names a big squad including the hard-running Luc Scadden and Cian Evans.

With only four fixtures left to make their mark and finish nearer the top, his team will be keen to take five points away from the top team.

Sunday morning the club will again be buzzing to the sounds of the junior section, with the U7s – U12s all locking horns with Oakmedians and the U14s welcoming Bournemouth.

Sunday afternoon the Colts take on Salisbury in the Dorset & Wilts Bowl at 2pm.

Meanwhile, in Wadworth 6X Dorset & Wilts One South action, Bridport return to action after an unexpected weekend off.

The Blues are languishing in bottom position with just five points to their name and face eight-placed Blandford.
