A POLICE cordon remains in place this morning after a man entered a restaurant with stab wounds.

An attempted murder inquiry has been launched following the incident in Wimborne Road, Winton at 6.51pm yesterday.

An alleyway has been taped off and detectives are continuing their inquiries.

Police have not revealed which restaurant the man went into but have confirmed it was not Chicken & Blues although the cordon next to Chicken & Blues is related to the incident.
