A MAN charged with attempted murder after an alleged stabbing in Bournemouth has appeared in court.
Jesley Nicholas Barrett, 28, of Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth also faces a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He appeared before Poole magistrates today and was remanded in custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on August 28.
At 6.51pm on Sunday, July 28, Dorset Police received a report that a man had entered a KFC restaurant with stab wounds on Wimborne Road in the Winton area.
It was reported that an assault took place a short time earlier inside an address on Wimborne Road.
An injured man was flown to hospital by air ambulance for treatment to serious injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
A 29-year-old Bournemouth woman arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent following the incident has been released without charge.
