LOCAL carpenters and volunteers pulled together to help renovate the Prama charity shop in Kinson following its expansion.
Amongst those working on the project were Christian Hacker, a local tradesman who provided his expertise and tools, Andy Gilbert from Prama’s head office team who helped with painting and putting up shelves, and Mike from the nearby Dolls shop in Kinson who helped with shelving, drilling and loaning tools.
Steve Robinson, charity chief executive, said: “All of us here at Prama are excited to have doubled the size of our Kinson shop. The post office site has been empty for some time and we are pleased to have provided additional space for the popular Kinson branch."
The newly expanded shop is now back open for business. Prama Shops help to run clubs and activities for older people and carers in Dorset.
