A VAN driver told police officers he would “only be a minute” when dangerously parking on a pavement and pedestrian crossing.
Officers in the Dorset Police No Excuse team stopped the van on Wimborne Road in Poole.
A post on the No Excuse Facebook page said: “The driver originally didn't want to move stating ‘I’m only going to be a minute’.
“We persuaded him move, issued him a fixed penalty and explained the risks. We now think he understands the risks and he won't park there again.”
