A WOMAN was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after her speeding car failed to stop for police in Southbourne.
Officers spotted the vehicle driving at excess speed in Seabourne Road at 2.27am today.
It failed to stop when asked to do so and made off. The vehicle was stopped a short distance away at the junction of Seabourne Road and Christchurch Road.
A 46-year-old woman from Christchurch has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
