FESTIVE fund raisers are being urged to take part in the 2020 Santa Fancy Dress Fun Run.
The annual event raises vital funds for the John Thornton Young Achievers' Foundation but can only be done in a virtual manner this Christmas.
Participants can run or walk two miles in any location and there are prizes for the best dressed Santa and mini Santa.
The event will take place on Sunday December 20 and Santas can get sponsorship or make a donation.
The foundation was set up in memory of Royal Marine John Thornton, 22, from Ferndown who was killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
It provides opportunities for young people to help them to develop as individuals and fulfil their ambitions in life.

Why not setup your own online fundraising page? Any fundraising that you are able to do right now, however limited, will make a huge difference to the JTYAF.
If you want to take part but do not wish to raise funds through sponsorship, then please make a donation to the JTYAF. Visit JTYAF's JustGiving page
