THIRTEEN more people have died with coronavirus in Dorset hospitals, latest data has revealed.

Data from NHS England has confirmed that thirteen more people have died at the University Hospitals Dorset and at Dorset Healthcare Trust.

Eleven people have died at the University Hospitals Dorset, with one on January 15, seven on January 16 and three on January 17. 

This has taken UHD's total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic to 384.

Two people died at Dorset Healthcare Trust, one on January 15 and the other on January 16. 

The Trust's total now stands at 42.

The Dorset County Hospital's total remains at 45.

A further 842 people, who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 62,295.

Patients were aged between 28 and 104 years old. 

All except 35 (aged 54 to 94 years old) had known underlying health conditions.

The South West recorded 46 deaths.
