WITCHES, wizards, comic book characters and superheroes will be attending schools across BCP and Dorset today.
Youngsters will be dressing up as their favourite inspirational characters for World Book Day.
The much-loved event is a highlight in the school calendar and the theme for this year is making it 'your' World Book Day.
World Book Day is held in March each year and is a registered charity with the mission to give every child and young person a book of their own.
Each year, parents, grandparents and carers come up with imaginative costumes celebrating books by the likes of JK Rowling, Julia Donaldson, Jeff Kinney, David Walliams, Cressida Cowell and everything in between.
As always, we’d love to see your pictures which will then be showcased in a gallery online.
