BOURNEMOUTH

DANIEL BRIAN OLDHAM, aged 19 and of Nortoft Road, Bournemouth, admits failing to comply with the requirements of community orders made on July 18, 2022, and November 16, 2022, by failing to attend unpaid work appointment on April 19, attending office but sent home for abusive behaviour on April 27 and failing to attend planned office visit on May 22. Community orders revoked. To pay £60 costs. New community order made, whereby the defendant must abstain from consuming any alcohol for 90 days and take part in up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity.

MICHAELA HIGGINS, aged 48 and of Paddington Grove, Bournemouth, admits driving a motor vehicle in Paddington Grove, Bournemouth, on March 11 with 28 micrograms of cocaine per litre of blood. Fined £120. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months. To pay £85 costs and £48 surcharge.

ALISTAIR LEES, aged 34 and of Marina Close, Bournemouth, admits stealing an air fryer to the value of £119.99 belonging to Sturton and Tappers in Wimborne Road, Bournemouth, on May 5. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. To pay £119.99 compensation and £85 costs. Also admits stealing laundry products to the value of £100 belonging to Co-op in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, on April 13. To pay £100 compensation. Also admits failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates’ Court on July 7, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. No separate penalty. Also admits stealing alcohol to the value of £184 belonging to Co-op in Wimborne Road, Bournemouth, on May 2. To pay £184 compensation.

MANGESH SHRESTHA, aged 28 and of Kashmir Road, Charlton, admits driving a motor vehicle in Carnarvon Road, Bournemouth, on July 24 with 59 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £507. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 16 months. To pay £85 costs and £203 surcharge.

CHRISTCHURCH

SCOTT BOYLAND, aged 43 and of Carpathia Drive, Southampton, admits driving a Ford Focus in Station Road, Christchurch, on July 3 without a licence. No separate penalty. Driving record endorsed. Also admits resisting a constable in the execution of his duty in Station Road, Christchurch, on July 3. Fined £80. Also admits driving a Ford Focus in Station Road, Christchurch, on July 3 with 69 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £120. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 18 months. To pay £85 costs and £128 surcharge. Also admits using a Ford Focus in Station Road, Christchurch, on July 3 without insurance. Fined £120. Driving record endorsed.

NORTH DORSET

ASHLEY SMITH, aged 39 and of Eagle House Gardens, Blandford Forum, admits stealing gas bottles to the value of approximately £230 to £270 belonging to Wellington Welding Supplies in Witney Road, Poole, on March 5. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. Also admits stealing gas bottles to the value of approximately £240 to £270 belonging to Wellington Welding Supplies in Witney Road, Poole, on March 4. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. Also admits stealing gas bottles to the value of approximately £240 to £270 belonging to Wellington Welding Supplies in Witney Road, Poole, on February 24. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. To pay £750 compensation, £85 costs and £26 surcharge.

PURBECK

DAMIEN WAPLINGTON, aged 36 and of Ulwell Road, Swanage, admits when suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, failing to do so in Culliford Crescent, Poole, on July 8. Community order made, whereby the defendant must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 30 months. To pay £85 costs and £114 surcharge. Also admits commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order on July 6, 2022, for an offence of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. No action taken on breach.
