A MAN remains on police bail after a woman was reportedly raped at a Boscombe bed and breakfast.
The man, 37 and from Christchurch, was arrested on suspicion of rape after an incident in Knole Road during the early hours of January 13.
Police said that they provided specialist support for the alleged victim.
A spokesman for Dorset Police told the Echo that the detectives continue to investigative the incident and that no charges have been brought but the arrested man remains under investigation.
There was a visible police presence in Knole Road and a cordon was put in place at the B&B for much of the morning in the hours after the report.
One man who was visiting a friend in the same road said he had woken up at 5am, looked outside and saw and ambulance and police cars parked outside.
