THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

CALUM ANDERSON, 24 and of Kingland Road in Poole, admitted to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison. He was jailed for 14 days.

CALLUM WOOLCOTT, 26 and of Dale Valley Road in Poole, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a man at Poole Hill in Bournemouth on November 5, 2023. He also admitted using threatening/abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and assaulting an emergency worker, also in Poole Hill on November 5, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months, and ordered to pay £150 in compensation.

RUSSELL PICKARD, 46 and of Bournemouth, admitted a charge of fraud of false representation after dishonestly making a false representation, namely driving on cloned plates, in Bournemouth on June 27, 2023. He also admitted to fraudulently using a replacement trade plate on the same date. He was handed a community order running until April 11, 2025, with a requirement to complete 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £114.

JAMES BLANCH, 40 and of Beaulieu Road in Christchurch, admitted two charged of assault by beating after assaulting a man and a woman at Wiggle in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, on November 9, 2022. He was ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, £200 compensation, and a fine of £769.

DAVID LUKEY, 46 and of Moors Mount in St Leonard’s, admitted two counts of assault by beating after assaulting a man and a woman in Blandford Forum on September 20, 2023. He also admitted criminal damage after damaging multiple household items including tables, a mobile phone and two TVs to a value unknown, also in Blandford Forum on September 20, 2023. He was handed a community order running until March 8, 2026, with a requirement to complete 100 hours of unpair work, and a restraining order running until the same date. He was also ordered to pay £500 compensation, a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £84 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

CALLUM DAVID GIDDINS, 20 and of Douglas Road in Poole, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on May 5, 2023. The community order was revoked, and he was handed an eight week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay costs of £60.

NIGEL TREADWELL, 45 and of Avenue Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing to comply with a direction given to him under section 35 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 in that he failed to leave the area of Weymouth Town when asked to do so. He also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Weymouth Magistrates Court on March 7. He was handed a one-month jail sentence, suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JASON CHEUNG, 31 and of Church Street in Dorchester, admitted to a number of thefts from the Co-op in The Forum Centre in Dorchester. He stole grocery items to the value of £35 on October 5, 2023, stole a frozen turkey crown to the value of £33 on December 20, 2023, stole a bottle of coke to the value of £2 on December 21, 2023, and three tubs of ice cream and three packets of noodles to the value of £14.25 on December 14, 2023. He also admitted a charge of assault by beating after assaulting a man at the same Co-op store on December 21, 2023, failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on May 18, 2023, and failing to surrender to custody at Weymouth Magistrates Court on January 19 of this year. The community order was revoked, and he was handed a 16 week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months. He was ordered to pay costs of £60, compensation of £49.25, and further costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service. He was also handed a restraining order, seeing him banned from the Co-op in Dorchester until March 7, 2026.
