TWO MEN were arrested after being caught with drugs and money in their car in Bournemouth.
Dorset’s roads policing team intercepted the vehicle shortly before 1am on March 17 in the Bournemouth north area.
Suspected class A drugs and cash was found in the car after being searched by officers.
Further searches were conducted at addresses linked to the two men and both were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
One of the men was also arrested on suspicion of a driving offence.
However, both men have since been released under investigation whilst further enquiries are carried out.
Dorset Police traffic unit posted on its social media: “Shortly before 1am on Sunday 17 March 2024 officers from the Roads Policing Team C squad Interceptors stopped a vehicle in the Bournemouth North area.
“Following a search of the two male occupants and the vehicle, a quantity of suspected class A drugs and cash was reportedly located. Further searches were also carried out at addresses linked to the men and both were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
“One of the men was also arrested on suspicion of a driving offence and both have been released under investigation as further enquiries are carried out.”
