A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of affray after an emergency incident in Boscombe.
A response unit swarmed a property after reports of a man with a knife.
Multiple undercover vehicles and armed police were seen canvassing the area.
Around five undercover police cars and three regular police cars were seen on the road.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "At 2.49pm on Tuesday 2 April 2024, Dorset Police received a report of a man in possession of a knife at a property in Boscombe Spa Road in Bournemouth.
"Officers attended and carried out a search of the property.
"Following enquiries, a 29-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of affray.
"There were no injuries reported during the incident.
"An investigation will be carried out to establish the full circumstances of what happened."
