THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

ADAM JOHN LINDSAY, 35 and of Alma Road in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a woman in Bournemouth on February 23. He admitted criminal damage after damaging a mobile phone in Bournemouth on February 23. He also admitted breaching a non-molestation order by making contact towards a woman who he was prohibited from contacting, and being violent towards her, and damaging her property. He was handed a community order lasting until April 15, 2026, with a requirement to complete 40 hours of unpaid work, and a restraining order was made lasting until October 15, 2025. He was also ordered to pay costs of £400 to the Crown Prosecution Service, compensation of £150 and a victim surcharge of £114.

GEMMA ANNE MCNICHOL, 37 and of Clarence Park Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following her release from prison. She was fined £50.

DARREN BROWN, 44 and of Westbourne, admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress at Tesco Express in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, on January 4. He also admitted theft from a shop after stealing two bottles of liquid washing gel valued at £11.50 from that same Tesco store on the same date. He admitted two counts of failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time, after failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates’ Court on February 2 and March 11. He was handed an eight week jail sentence suspended for 18 months. He was also ordered to pay £55.75 in compensation.

KIERAN JENKINS, 19 and of Leigh Road in Wimborne, was found guilty of two counts of using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress in Poole on July 24 and August 12, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until October 15, 2025, with a requirement complete 200 hours of unpaid work, and a restraining order was made lasting until April 15, 2026. He was also ordered to pay £625 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, a victim surcharge of £114 and compensation of £200.

VERITY LOCK, 23 and of Fletcher Way in Wimborne, admitted two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker after assaulting two police officers in Wimborne Minster on April 14. She also admitted commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made by Dorset Magistrates Court on March 30, 2023. The suspended sentence of 8 weeks imprisonment suspended for 18 was amended by extending the suspended period to 21 months. She was also fined £70 and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.

MARCO TEMES, 57 and of Heatherside in Epsom, admitted drink driving in Sandbourne Road, Bournemouth, on February 27. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £200, ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £80.
