The Moon in the Square
A BOURNEMOUTH Wetherspoon pub has closed for work.
The Moon in the Square in the town centre closed on Monday, April 29, as work beginning on the heating and air conditioning.
There will also be some electrical upgrades to the building, too, spokesman Eddie Gershon said.
The pub part of the building will reopen on Wednesday, May 1 while the kitchen will reopen on Friday, May 3.
Meanwhile, the pub recently was given a five-star hygiene rating by the Food Standards Agency.
Elsewhere Wetherspoon continues to try and sell off its pub The Quay in Poole.
The waterfront property has been put on the market for £1.75m with a licence to serve alcohol to the next buyer.
