BRIDPORT have captured the signing of former Dorchester Town midfielder Jon Vance.
Vance, who recently made his Magpies comeback after a lengthy absence caused by a knee injury, announced via Twitter on Sunday afternoon that he had left the Avenue Stadium.
Bees' boss Adam Fricker has moved quickly to snap up the energetic midfield man, feeling he has the necessary "experience" and "quality" for the club.
He told Echosport: "Jon's got the sort of experience that we need and is the consistency of player that produces quality for us.
"I think he proved his quality last season when he went there and he's more than capable at our level."
Vance is expected to go straight into the Bees' matchday squad for the visit of Brislington to St Mary's Field on Saturday (3pm).
