BALTI Sports manager Marco Nott admits his side is “desperate for a win” ahead of their Dorset Premier League tussle at Wareham Rangers tomorrow (2pm).

Balti have already played Rangers twice this season, beating them 4-1 in the Dorset Senior Trophy and 3-1 at home in league trim.

But Nott’s side are currently on a streak of four successive losses – a statistic the Balti boss is eager to change.

He told Echosport: “We know each other very well. It’s going to be a tough game because we’re desperate for a win.

“We’ll be going all out to try and get three points if we can to try and pick ourselves up for the (League) cup match the following week against Holt.”

Nott is also concerned about the state of Wareham’s pitch after a deluge of rain this week.

He said: “It’s certainly going to be heavy. I’m concerned about the game being on in general because their game got called off last Saturday through rain and obviously the forecast is for more.

“I’m a little bit sceptical if the game’s going to be on or not, but we’ve prepared alright for it.

“Results haven’t been great but spirits are still high – performances haven’t been too bad of late. It’s not the end of the world.

“We just need to get that win and get us back on track which I’m sure will happen soon.”

Danny Andrews, Ricky Lane, Charlie Kenderdine, Carl McClements, Ash Smith and Ryan Dovell all miss out.

However, Phil Anderson (hamstring) could return alongside Josh Burton and Jack Drummond, while Ethan Devaney is a doubt.
