DORCHESTER Town have signed ex-Poole Town goalkeeper Nick Hutchings on non-contract terms.
The deal, which was agreed last night, has been ratified by the Southern League today and is eligible for the FA Trophy first round clash at Eastbourne Borough tomorrow.
Hutchings enjoyed a superb spell at the Dolphins, keeping 136 clean sheets in 337 games and winning two Dorset Senior Cups and one Southern League Cup during his time at Poole.
Hutchings left the Dolphins earlier this season, after asking for his contract to be terminated after slipping behind Luke Cairney in the pecking order.
In a statement online, the Magpies said: "Dorchester Town Football Club are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Nick Hutchings has signed for The Magpies.
"The experienced keeper made over 330 appearances for Poole Town during the past eight years and was a key member of the side that climbed from the Wessex League to National League South, including winning the Southern League Premier Division title in the 2015/16 season."
