BALTI Sports’ boss Marco Nott described tomorrow’s Dorset Premier League meeting with Sherborne Town Reserves (2pm) at Weymouth College as “tricky”.

Nott’s men have already beaten the Zebras this season, winning 3-2 in a thrilling clash in north Dorset as Matt Roberts, Jack Drummond and Stef Stavrianos all scored for a depleted Balti.

The return fixture sees Balti, seventh, face the league’s 14th-placed side and the hosts could hit fifth should they win and other results go their way.

Speaking to Echosport, Nott feels last week’s 3-2 win over Bridport Reserves can boost confidence levels after halting a five-game run of defeats.

He said: “It’s tricky, we’ve played them this season and won. The last game was a 3-2 win and it was a last-minute winner to get the win.

“It’ll be a tough game, definitely. We just hope we’ve gained a bit of confidence now and we can kick on and go on to a little run if we can because we’ve got four or five games coming up.

“We’re certainly looking forward to it and it’s a positive mood this week. Hopefully we can gain some momentum now.

“The way we won that game last week we should have a lot of confidence going into (Sherborne).”

Ricky Lane could return, but captain Ryan Dovell and Ash Smith remain out.
