DORCHESTER Sports boss Ashley James is aiming to finish sixth in the Dorset Premier League table, as his side prepare to host Swanage Town & Herston tomorrow (2pm).

James’ men sit ninth in the table, but eye a rise to sixth, with James saying he thinks the top five positions in the league are finalised.

James said: “The top five I think is done now in our league, so the aim is to finish sixth which would be, considering we have lost quite a few games this season, a good finish for us.

“But we would have to win six or seven out of our last nine games if we are to do that and we have got to beat the teams in and around us.”

James is hoping his side can pick up momentum, with six out of their nine remaining games coming at home.

James said: “We have got a lot of teams left who are just in and around us so if we want to finish higher in the league we have got to start beating these teams now.

“Six games out of nine at home (to come) and a lot of those are teams are in and around us so it is up to us, it is in our hands to finish a bit higher up in the league.”

Antony Frost is unavailable for two games but Sam Turner comes in for him, while Gareth Will is unavailable but Adam Steele returns.
