DORCHESTER Sports are set to take on Shaftesbury Town Reserves at Cockrams in the first of a Dorset Premier League double-header tomorrow (3pm).

Sports travel to the Rockies before hosting the north Dorset side one week later at the Clayson Stadium.

Nevertheless, Sports’ boss Ashley James is targeting a response to Saturday’s 6-3 thrashing by Merley Cobham Sports.

He told Echosport: “We’ve got them back-to-back and we’ll be away in the first game, it’s always difficult up there.

“It’ll be another tricky one for us and coming off the back of Saturday’s result makes it a little bit harder but hopefully we can bounce back.

“We’ve just got to finish as strongly as we can, we know this season hasn’t been good enough. We’ve just got to try now and get as many points as we can from the last three games.”

Luke Gatehouse, Alex Gould and Jamie Quinton miss out but Jamie Rawlings returns.
