VICTORIOUS: Star Soccer beat Wareham Rangers
STAR Soccer took home the coveted title of Dorset Champions Cup winners after a slender 1-0 victory over Wareham Rangers at Milborne St Andrew.
Wareham, who were champions of the West Dorset Veterans’ League, and Star, victors of the East division, put on a superb defensive display in a game dominated by rearguard action.
However, Star’s Nick Darnell produced a fantastic 18-yard strike to break the deadlock and land the trophy.
