PORTLAND United have announced that Richard Marshallsay is the next player to extend his stay at the Blues for the forthcoming 2019/20 season in the Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division.
Marshallsay joins a huge line of players to have committed to the Blues for the forthcoming season.
So far, Bailey Rowe, Aston Butcher, Harry Hutchinson, Crit Clarke, Ryan McKechnie, Jamie Beasley, Lewis Whyton, Jamie Symes, Sean Stewart, Ross Doidge, Ed Bastick, Alex Godfrey and Shaun Bessant in committing to the side that finished fourth last season.
The club have also announced that their annual general meeting is set to take place on Thursday, July 18 at the Blues Club.
Portland are set to begin their pre-season fixtures in less than a month’s time, when they host the Terras on July 6.
Further fixtures include the likes of Bridport and Dorchester Town as they gear up for next season.
Elsewhere, Dorchester Sports have announced that Antony Frost and Ryan Ross have committed to the club for next season.
Sports have been very active of late, having signed Sam Clarke, Jamie West and Jamie Samways, as well as Ashley Smith and ex-Dorchester Town player Alex Stafie.
