WEYMOUTH have landed a challenging FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie at home to National League side Dover Athletic.

Mark Molesley's men progressed to within one victory of the first round proper after beating St Albans City 4-1 on Saturday.

Goals from Josh Wakefield and Jake McCarthy, plus a double from Yemi Odubade helped the Terras see off the Saints 4-1 for the second time this season.

But a strong test awaits in Dover, who currently occupy eighth in the division above Weymouth.

The Terras will enjoy home advantage at the Bob Lucas Stadium but face a Whites side that possess the best away record in the National League, with six wins from seven games.

A total of 20 positions separate the seaside clubs in their respective leagues as the duo battle it out for a coveted place in the first round and £18,750 in prize money.

Weymouth fans had been eager to draw arch-enemies Yeovil at this stage, but the Glovers were drawn away to Haringey Borough.

Dorset neighbours Poole were handed an away tie at fellow BetVictor Southern Premier South club Hayes & Yeading United.

All ties will take place over the weekend of Saturday, October 19.
