WEST Ham United are “interested” in Cherries stopper Asmir Begovic, according to a report in the Sun.

The publication claims the Bosnian international “is keen to join a new club, on either a temporary or permanent basis”.

Begovic joined Cherries from Chelsea for £10million in 2017 but lost his starting place in the Premier League during the second half of last season.

He joined Qarabag on loan in the summer and has made 15 appearances for the Azerbaijani side.

But with that deal set to expire in January, the goalkeeper has also been linked with Derby, Birmingham and PSV Eindhoven, who are reportedly “monitoring the situation” surrounding the 32-year-old.

Begovic’s last game for Eddie Howe’s men came in a 3-1 home defeat to Burnley back in April.
