Negotiations had taken place between the sides to hold the tie at Weymouth tonight, although it is understood Verwood resisted in favour of holding home advantage.
Under Dorset FA rules, a second postponement in as many weeks paves the way for Weymouth to host the clash.
A date of Tuesday, January 21 has been provisionally set for the fixture's fulfilment at the Bob Lucas Stadium.
Winners of the semi-final will face Dorchester Town in the final after the Magpies last week beat Wimborne Town 4-1.
