BRIAN Stock expects Weymouth to “regroup” for a crucial Vanarama National League trip to Bromley tonight (7.45pm).

Stock’s men suffered a late 3-2 FA Cup defeat to in-form Oxford City on Saturday, extending their run without a main draw tie to 13 seasons.

League form has improved for Weymouth, with the Terras claiming a 2-1 win over King’s Lynn in their previous outing.

And Weymouth go on to face a Bromley side with just two home victories in 2020 – both coming against Dover.

Stock told Echosport: “It’s a demanding league and if we go into (Bromley) feeling sorry for ourselves we’re going to get beaten again.

“It’s important in this league that if we do have a disappointing performance or result we react in a positive way.

“We’ve done that in most of the games. We’ve come up short in results but I fully expect the squad to regroup, unite and go again.”

Shamir Mullings (hamstring) and Cameron Murray are in contention, while Calvin Brooks (knee) is doubtful.

Stock said: “(Mullings) is looking good. He’s had a very good 48 hours of treatment and done a bit on the pitch as well. It’s touch and go whether he’s ready.

“Calvin has played a lot of games recently and on Tuesday he pulled up very early in training with a knee problem which he’s had previously.

“I’m fully expecting him to be ready to go again next week. Cam, he might be in contention.

“The squad is looking good, one or two coming back. Unfortunately Jack Dickson is the only one who has a lengthy time out.”
