CHERRIES talisman Dominic Solanke has been nominated for the Professional Footballers’ Association’s Premier League fans’ player of the month for December.

Having entered the month already surpassing his highest goal haul in a top-flight season, Solanke continued firing in goals during December.

After scoring away at Manchester United, a first senior hat-trick against Nottingham Forest followed, marking the first time the former Liverpool and Chelsea striker had scored in back-to-back Premier League games.

He then converted a penalty against Fulham to finish the month with five goals.

The nomination follows the nod Solanke received for the Premier League’s own player of the month award, which he received alongside teammate Marcos Senesi.

Solanke is up against Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey, West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison, and Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold in the fan’s vote.
