BRIDPORT’S Dorset Senior Cup semi-final with Hamworthy Rec has been postponed for a second time.
With recent heavy rainfall, the St Mary’s Field surface has become saturated and the Bees have been forced to postpone a third consecutive home game.
It means the fixture will now likely switch to Rec’s Magna Road headquarters.
Winners of the tie will face one of Shaftesbury, Poole Town or Wimborne Town in the final.
Poole are set to host Wimborne in the quarter-finals on Tuesday, March 12, with the winners facing Shaftesbury in the other semi-final.
Bridport were hoping to cash in on home advantage but the weather has played a cruel hand.
Hamworthy Recreation return to action this weekend when the host Cove at Magna Road in a Wessex Division One clash on Saturday (3pm).
